1. What we collect
- Account: email, display name, avatar, sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email).
- Nutrition data: meals, water, weight, photos you upload, and macro targets.
- Usage: AI scan counts, streaks, challenge participation, app diagnostics.
- Device: OS, app version, anonymized crash reports. We do not collect contacts, location, or browsing history.
2. How we use it
- Calculate your personalized macro targets and trial entitlement.
- Process meal photos via our AI provider (Google Gemini) to estimate calories and macros. Images are sent to the provider for inference and are not used to train third-party models.
- Run social challenges and leaderboards you opt into.
- Detect abuse and enforce per-day scan limits.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Limited data is shared with:
- Supabase (database, auth, storage)
- Google Cloud / Gemini (AI inference on meal photos)
- Apple & Google (in-app purchases via RevenueCat)
4. Your rights
You can export, edit, or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or via the data deletion page.
5. Children
MacroClic Ai is not directed to children under 13. Accounts found to belong to children are deleted.
